I really want to get laser eye surgery. I am tired of having to wear glasses and contact lenses. 1) contact lenses don’t give me crystal clear eyesight – there is still unclear sight 6.50+ in each eyes. 2) glasses give me perfect eyesight – but i don’t want to wear them all my life. I need some advice on whether i can get laser eye surgery with a squint. I read somewhere that i can’t but i want to no whether there is still a chance.

I know it depends on where you are stationed but i’m just asking. I have (not really sure can’t really remember what the eye doctor told me) 20/220 or 20/250. Something like that haha. I would like to get Laser Eye Surgery so I can perform better when I enlist in 2015 :) .

I have astigmatism but I find contacts and glasses a frustrating money sink. My vision is about 20/160, but I never wear corrective lenses. I am looking forward to laser surgery, but as a college student I have less than $2000 to work with. I understand surgery can be up to $5000 in the USA, but I’ve heard of prices as low as $1400 abroad. Does anyone have any cheap success stories?

Im pretty young, 16, but my vision is HORRIBLE and i mean horrible ( -4.5) Without my glasses or contacts i can’t see anything. I’m waiting to turn 21 so i can be eligible for laser eye surgery but I heard once you get surgery and years later when your vision gets blurry again you cant wear glasses or contacts! Is this true?
