Here’s the deal. I have a list from my insurance provider on doctors they will cover. However, what I’d really like to find is a website inwhich has reviews and comments from patients about their experiences and if the surgery was a success or not. You hear so many horror stories and what not, that I don’t want to be unlucky and choose that doctor.
If anyone knows what I’m talking about, please write me!! What is that website???
This is a hard question to answer because it really depends on where you want to go to have it done. The way I found my doctor was to ask or I found out from people that I knew that had it done, who did it and would they have it done again. When I knew I was going to have it done by my doctor I started searching and low and behold, absolutely nothing about him except what I already knew about him. So your best bet is to find a place and go for a free consultation. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and then trying looking up the name of the company or the doctors name at least online. There are people out there including on Answers that will say don’t have it done because of the horror stories, but really, you don’t hear about the thousands if not millions of people that it has helped (including myself). I had absolutely no complications and my eyes feel great except sometimes feel dry which is why I have Restasis twice a day. Good Luck!!
